Recent Project:   Gateway Upgrade Project

In May 2007 the Queensland Premier, Peter Beatie officially launched the Gateway Upgrade Project by boring the first pile.

The $1.88 Billion design, construct and maintain contract was awarded to Leighton Abi Joint Venture.  The Project consists of "Three Projects in one", 12km of motorway upgrade from Mt Gravat to Maurarrie, the Second Gateway Bridge and a new 7km Gateway Motorway deviation running from Eagle Farm to Nudgee.

 Leighton Abi Joint Venture subsequently entered into an Alliance Agreement with the Gateway Piling Joint Venture.  The Joint Venture, led by Piling Contractors Pty Ltd, consisted of the Keller Group of Companies and was responsible for the installation of all Bridge Piles and Ground Treatment Works throughout the project.
